Car stereos types

A car needs to have some cool electronics that make your drive worthwhile. A car without a stereo is not a car to have. Almost every car has a stereo in it. People often get confused between which sound systems to get. This article explains all about the sound systems and various car electronics.

There are two kinds of car speakers. One is acomponentsystem, and the other is full range system. The component system has a far better sound quality than the full range one because of its authentic make. They are expensive and require high maintenance, which can be counted as a drawback. This system contains tweeters, woofers, and external crossovers. The sound quality is much better than the other systems and gives you a great music experience during driving. They are made from a better material than the full range one. It is durable and long lasting but a little bit expensive.

Full range sound systems are cheap and easy to install. They can be easily replaced by a new one and are quite easy to maintain. Their sound might not be as good as component systems, but it is quite good for people who do not want too much pomp and show. They are also made from a material that is durable and long lasting.

There are some technical features too that you should know about. The high-powered system should always be supported by systems that have low sensitivity. This gives a better sound quality.

Moreover, always measure the size beforehand so that it is easy to install. Always use rubber surrounds because they can increase the life of speakers. Moreover, woofers should belightweight made of polypropylene. These little additional can give a better sound quality.

Car electronics also include radar detectors. There are corded radar detectors, which are quite old and typical. These radars always have to be placed on the windshield, and they cannot be kept out of sight. There are cordless radars that can be kept hidden and can be transferred from one vehicle to another without any difficulty. Then there are remote mounted radars. These radars are permanently mounted in the car, and they can be kept hidden. One time installation is required only. These radars work in different wavebands. Some use X-ray, bands. Such car radars are quite old, and they can sometimes mix the frequencies giving the user a false alarm. K- Band radars are mostly used by cops, and they have a built-in camouflage system that makes them undetectable. Ka-band radars are the latest ones, and they are being used by cops in European countries. It is quite difficult to detect these radars. They can also take a picture of the car or the license plate. It is the best toy of a cop.
